  7. ±11The  concert was held in Oslo, Norway
  8. June  10th,  1993.  A really terrible
  9. intro-band  warmed  up  the  audience
  10. from  about  13:00.   It  was a group
  11. called  "Sister  Rain".   After  this
  12. disappointment   yet   another  group
  13. entered the stage at about 16:00.  It
  14. was   Suicidal   Tendences,  which  I
  15. didn't like at all.

  17. Gn'R were supposed to enter the stage
  18. at  approx.   19:00,  but they didn't
  19. untill 20:15.  As always they started
  20. with the great tune called "Outta Get
  21. Me".   Later  on  they played through
  22. most of their wellknown tunes.  I can
  23. mention some of them:  Welcome To The
  24. Jungle,  Mr.Brownstone,  Live And Let
  25. Die,  Bad  Obsession,  Double Talkin'
  26. Jive,  Sweet  Child  O'Mine,  It's So
  27. Easy,    Yesterdays,    Knockin'   On
  28. Heaven's  Door, You Could Be Mine, So
  29. Fine,  I  Used  To Love Her etc.  The
  30. only  songs I really missed was Civil
  31. War, Locomotive and Don't Cry!

  33. Slash    played    a   really   great
  34. guitarsolo  on  his Gibson-el.guitar.
  35. It  lasted  for nearly 10 minutes and
  36. was absolutely great!

  38. For  me,  one  of  the highlights was
  39. when   Matt  Sorum  played  a  really
  40. powerful   drumsolo.    Because   his
  41. forefathers  came  from Norway he had
  42. attached a pair of norwegian flags on
  43. the  drums.  When he was finnished he
  44. threw  the  drumsticks  to  the  wild
  45. audience.

  47. In  the  middle  of  the concert they
  48. swapped  from  el.  equipment to pure
  49. aqoustic-sound.   It  was great, they
  50. played  many tunes which orginally is
  51. el.played.     While    they   played
  52. aqoustic  they  sat  on  an old sofa.
  53. Suddenly  a pizza-delivery man served
  54. them  pizza!   When Axl Rose had some
  55. brakes,  he  played  flipper  on each
  56. side of the stage!  Another highlight
  57. was  when  they played Duff McKagan's
  58. "Attitude", a punksong.
  59.  
  60. The   only   disappointment  at  this
  61. concert  was  the  poor  introduction
  62. bands  and  the fact that the concert
  63. only  lasted  for  about  2 hours!  I
  64. know  that  Gn'R  will  play a lot of
  65. other  places  in Europe this summer,
  66. and  I  can  only  say:   Attend this
  67. great concert, it's worth it...ç
